Schenkel Shultz architecture and design studio is planning to relocate its corporate headquarters to Winter Park. In a statement released on Monday, Jan. 22, the firm announced it will occupy the 12,000-square-foot commercial building at 834 N. Orange Ave., across from Alfond Stadium.
According to the release, the new space will house its 65-member team and offer outdoor areas for programming and events. The firm will also adhere to the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Materials Pledge by using components that minimize carbon emissions, partnering with manufacturers that secure human rights in operations and supply chains, and aiming for a “zero-waste” goal by refurbishing the existing building.
