As a Partner, and leader of the firm’s education practice, Dave spearheads a robust team of experts in the planning, programming and design of academic projects that include new construction, campus additions, existing facility improvements and renovations. Having spent much of his career working with a broad range of education clients, from early childhood through higher education, Dave possesses a comprehensive understanding of the trends and global influence that affect educational design today.
A confident and creative problem-solver, Dave has a keen eye for detail and can distill complex challenges to their essence, creating clear and actionable plans that drive project success and meet a client’s budget and schedule expectations. Dave also excels in developing strong, authentic relationships with clients, as well as our engineering and construction partners. His experience has encompassed decades of work with both public and private sector clients, as well as 14 years working with the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) designing schools on military bases worldwide.
As a firm leader, Dave is also actively engaged in overall operations including financial and resource management, project scheduling, talent acquisition and more.
