While overseeing day-to-day operations as Managing Partner of Schenkel Shultz, Dan Laggan is also a practicing architect, leading the design and management of key projects. His extensive experience as a generalist architect has produced an extensive range of work that includes performing arts, healthcare, museums, education, aviation, public safety and workplace environments. Dan’s diverse portfolio encompasses new, renovations, adaptive reuse, restoration and preservation work. It has also provided Schenkel Shultz with a fresh perspective, expanding our firm’s focus and advancing a more design-focused approach.
In the past decade, Dan has helped guide the evolution of our firm. He has been instrumental in elevating our reputation for holistic design excellence, including the expansion of services to encompass interior design and planning.
Dan is a strategic thinker who routinely challenges assumptions. In his role as Managing Partner, Dan leads firmwide operations, including financial forecasting, managing staff workload and resource allocations, overseeing project financials and negotiating contracts.
