Orangewood Church and Christian School is moving forward with a $25 million expansion.
The Maitland-based private school selected Winter Park-based Schenkel Shultz to design a two-story, 63,950-square-foot addition and a renovation for the school at its main campus.
The school has more than 900 students from kindergarten to 12th grade at two campuses in Maitland.
The expansion at 1300 W. Maitland Blvd. will include a sanctuary with seating for up to 814 people, a public lobby, classrooms for faith-based education and church administration space. For the school, it will add four STEM labs, four classrooms and more school administration office space.
