Downtown Bradenton Transit

Manatee County Government

The Downtown Bradenton Transit Station serves as a central hub for the MCAT bus lines and stands as a welcome addition to the area. The design aims to provide passengers with a unique and comfortable experience, going beyond the traditional notion of a bus stop. As part of the ongoing downtown redevelopment, this station replaces the previous location situated west of the historic courthouse, offering bus riders a new and secure off-street facility.

Sculpted canopies, warm timber tones, and vibrant tile art come together to create an artful and captivating atmosphere for passengers, simultaneously supporting Downtown Bradenton's public art collection.
“What could be considered a small project in size has made a big impact on the Bradenton community. Our collaboration with multiple stakeholders and users to bring public art into the project added value and vitality for residents and visitors.”
