A preserved historic fire truck and reclaimed brick from the station’s elevator shaft honors its legacy while providing a modern, purpose-driven environment that supports the county’s emergency services and administrative functions.
The central dispatch console anchors the interior, supporting the facility’s critical operations. Environmental graphics define the egress stairs and the conference room, weaving the station’s identity throughout the space with clarity and presence. A double-height volume, glazed with a continuous glass façade, establishes visual continuity and a luminous, open atmosphere. Adjacent, a flexible space offers fire administration a place to meet, recharge, and engage, balancing operational rigor with moments of pause.
