FEFPA Summer Conference

The FEFPA Summer Conference offers space for reflection, connection, and shared momentum—an environment that invites dialogue among those shaping Florida’s educational landscape. We were honored to be selected to present at this year’s conference, where Design Lead and Partner, Ekta P. Desai, AIA, shared the story of Booker High School’s Visual and Performing Arts Center, an award-winning project recently recognized with first place in FEFPA’s Special Projects category. The session explored the design’s conceptual underpinnings, revealing a methodology shaped by purpose, place, and process. Through open conversation, we traced the project’s narrative arc, from history to vision, connecting attendees to the deeper logic and meaning embedded within our work and highlighting how thoughtful design can inspire learning, creativity, and community impact.
