Atlanta Executive Terminal and Hangars

Signature Flight Support

As a part of the Hartsfield Jackson campus, the busiest airport in the world, Signature’s Atlanta terminal is designed to offer its customers a singular stop for any aviation need. The project is composed of three main elements: a fixed-base operator (FBO), a sports charter and VIP lounge, and an elite terminal building with customs and border patrol. The FBO offers a variety of services to aircraft owners and operators, such as fueling, maintenance, and flight planning. The 12-bay hangar can accommodate a variety of aircraft types. The sports charter and VIP lounge provides a comfortable and luxurious space for sports teams, charter clients, and VIPs to relax and unwind before or after their flights. The elite terminal building, with customs and border patrol, offers a dedicated customs and immigration area for expedited processing.

The terminal features plenty of seating and work areas, high-end amenities, and views of the airfield. The terminal not only meets the needs of its clientele, but also reflects the top-tier level of service synonymous with the Signature brand.
A series of four luxury suites in the Elite Terminal gives Signature’s clients a place to unwind and relax before departure. Elevated finishes and natural light make each one unique to the next.
A landside canopy at the terminal entrance draws travelers in with its beams and curved structure.
The design of the lobby, conference room and café use a sophisticated neutral palette highlighted with bold accents of color, mirrored wood panels and digital wallcoverings to incorporate texture and patterns.
Atlanta was the backdrop for our design drawing inspiration from its diverse and artistic cultural tapestry. Splashed in color and washed with natural light, the open space concept modernizes one of the nation's largest transportation hubs.
As a city with an artistic soul, unique cultural and sports fabric and etched in our history as the cradle of the modern civil rights movement, Atlanta as a place was the backdrop for our design. This project furthers the transportation infrastructure of one the nation's largest hubs.

An art corridor is visible to passerby’s and frames the work of local artist, Corey Barksdale. The murals in both terminals bring in the diversity and cultural influences of Atlanta, creating a regional sense of place.
Aligning with Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport’s commitment to sustainable design, the FBO and Elite Terminals are each LEED® Silver certified buildings. Reinforceing the airport’s stature as the world’s first airport to receive a LEED® for Communities certification.
